Some refining on the citizen would make it a clear winner over the Seiko. The citizen hi beat movement is miles ahead from the atrocious 6r35. However, none can be a Tudor substitute.

Great video and comparison - you earned my subscription right away. I am owner of both watches and from my personal experience, the Tudor Royale looks and feels way more classy than the PRX. The PRX has been my favourite watch in my collections for quite sometime, because I like to feeling of the watch feeling like it’s worth the price. To this I can say that the Tudor Royal gives steep competition and is slowly overtaking the PRX as a favourite😅

To me Seiko is like Benchmade and Citizen is like Spyderco in knife world. Citizen design often acquires taste but once you use it, you’ll start to see its beauty within. I own a lot more Seiko than Citizen but I can confidently say that I love Citizen over Seiko. Many of their current company decisions I just don’t agree with. Citizen is constantly offer more for less.

The Squale case is way more elegant , and that used to be a reason for a more expensive watch

The sumo only fit to a wrist size of 7.5 inch and above any smaller wrist it will look to big

5:44 Dude you are not measuring the Citizen's lug to lug properly, you're not even measuring it from the end of the lug. The lug to lug is actually 48.7. So the Seiko has a shorter lug to lug. This surprised me, it wore larger than an SKX but looked and felt smaller than the SKX (or 5kx if you have one) thanks to the aluminum and lack of crown guard. I still wish they had made the lug to lug 46 or 47, I wouldn't care about losing a mm in case diameter. The lug to lug is about exact for my wrist. The crown is too small, I think it makes it look delicate. That is a fair gripe. The bezel feels like it's off a Timex explorer, the case is unremarkable fully brushed, and the rotor is loud. But damn it's accurate and a high beat. The 60 click bezel isn't annoying, it's the dull bezel texture, so it being a light action is probably good, very little back play and good alignment. Citizen could make it basically perfect with some simple revisions. As it is, I still like it, it's a good value.

The lume on the Super Squale is diabolical. The intensity fades within minutes, whereas the Black Bay 58 lume lasts almost overnight. I compared both watches head to head.

Why cant they just put the background of the date same with the dial color 🤷‍♂️

Does anyone know of somebody who could competently mod the Zulu time to remove the stupid stars? I'd love to have the 39mm version ... but IMO the stars are just so tacky and unnecessary.

Just be glad that it's not a *real* riveted bracelet ... Vintage Rolex / Tudor have their charms ... but the modern watches -- esp the bracelets -- are a bazillion times better than their older counterparts'.

I own an Explorer II and a Pepsi GMT II ... What the Ex2 offers that the GMT2 does not is inconspicuousness. People -- including those whom you might not want to -- notice a red/blue-bezel watch on a steel bracelet ... nobody notices the Ex2, which is a benefit in certain contexts. (Generally, though, better to simply not-go places where you can't comfortably/safely wear whatever watch you want.)

The needle of the clock become loose in just 12 days after return peiod over and that is why it is not working.

This Longines Spirit Zulu GMT is the most beautiful GMT of all.

I picked up the Pro. I got it unworn on Belez for 3500 in 2023. It’s come down in 2024. It’s a beautiful watch I’ll changed the strap with a RUBBERB. It’s lighter with the strap.

For this type of bracelet I use a micro screwdriver with a thick handle and a slightly bent tip. This allows you to easily remove the pins in 1 second.

Got the citizen from my wife as birthday present. The citizen is perfect in every way. What I love most is the inner curve sapphire crystal, a feature of which none of my watch have before. It looks really cool.
